What’s our next move?

“We know the business could be much bigger. We just don’t know what the next move should be.”

That is a quote from a conversation I had with the Director of a successful business recently.

They weren’t trying to fix a failing company. Quite the opposite.

They’ve built a really great business; they’ve made the most of the opportunity immediately in front of them.

But that success had brought them to a new challenge.

The next stage for their business won’t come from simply doing more of the same. It’s going to require new thinking, new choices and probably a different kind of plan.

Opportunity isn’t the issue. What they need next is clarity about which opportunity to go after, and the confidence to commit to it.

I think this is where many successful SMEs plateau.

Not because they lack potential, but because the path that got them here isn’t necessarily the path that will take them forward.

Is your business facing something similar?

If you can see the potential but can’t yet see the path, I’d love to hear from you and see if I can help.

Often businesses don't have a strategy problem. They have a prioritisation problem.
